The corridor this dataset covers: Canon EF / EF-S / TS-E / MP-E lenses on Canon EOS R bodies through the official Mount Adapter EF-EOS R — every statement cited.
Scope of the data
This dataset answers one corridor exhaustively: 31 EF-family lenses (zooms, primes, EF-S crop lenses, TS-E tilt-shift, and the MP-E 65 macro) on 13 RF-mount bodies (full-frame and APS-C), through the three official Mount Adapter EF-EOS R variants. Every claim on this site resolves against that verified dataset — combinations outside it are labeled unverified, never guessed.
What Canon states
The adapter's product pages state that attaching it to an RF-mount body enables “any lens in Canon's rich EF & EF-S lens line-up,” with the footnote “except EF-M and Cinema EOS lenses.”
The exceptions that matter are physical, not electrical: lenses with no autofocus motor (TS-E and MP-E designs) stay manual-focus by design, and EF-S lenses project an APS-C image circle, so a full-frame body records in crop mode (covered on the EF-S page).

Which adapter variant?
